In a way your book is already written in your posts and journals. Time away from the trauma and indignities of treatments, interventions and caregiving can be not only restorative but a door to insights not available at the present time. I’ve revisited Alphonse Daudet’s In the Land of Pain, while in recovery from recent surgery. Perspective is everything. If I overstep, you can tell me to shove it. I look forward to whatever you come up with.

Jim, you are always welcome to leave a comment or statement here. In my experience, a blog is a blog and a book is a book. Two different media, each with its own restrictions and methods.

Tosh, your writing is even more magnificent of late. Looking forward to any forthcoming book.

I can't wait for your book Tosh. You are a master of artful articulation. Yours is my favorite type of writing. It feels so natural and unforced but one senses a deep intelligence at work. Beautiful.
