The original Damned are back, well for at least a short tour in the United Kingdom. Here is their first live show in so-many years. Doing their first two albums, plus New York Dolls’s Pills and Rolling Stones’s The Last Time.
The tension between spirituality, eros, and the politics of the Church all come together in Pierre Klossowski’s The Suspended Vocation. A book within a book, where one is not sure what is happening, yet the journey is essential. Klossowski is an important figure in 20th-century European arts both visually as well as with the written word. The scent of decadence is like a beautiful perfume fragrance, and I’m drawn into this book. You can get it here: https://shop.smallpressnyc.com/products/the-suspended-vocation
