At the moment, and maybe for the rest of my life, I’m going through grief regarding my mom’s death last January. So, any film that deals with one’s mom, for instance, Charlotte Gainsbourg’s documentary on her mom Jane is really something for me. Jane par Charlotte is a moving experience for me. The scene where Charlotte takes her mom to Serge’s home, which is still intact, meaning nothing has been moved from the kitchen, etc., is emotionally overwhelming.
