The Davis essays are phenomenal- fantastic list overall - I also really enjoyed the Jarvis Cocker book

Absolutely, I've loved his works for years, especially both Journey, and Death, amazing skill, despite some toxic personal aspects, kind of similar to Emil Ciroan in that regard, another gifted favourite of mine.

Ciroan is pretty fantastic. I would feel 'naked' if I didn't have his books within reaching distance.

Celine is a great writer and endlessly fascinating on so many levels. It's an excellent biography.

For sure, I adore his labyrinthine mind, especially his poetic text called The Temptation to Exist.
