I love the movie Bell, Book and Candle; Kim Novak is so cool in it and Philippe Clay's cameo performance is great. I was first made aware of the film by a mention of it in Amy-Jo Albany’s memoir “Low Down: Junk, Jazz, and Other Fairy Tales from Childhood”. Have you read it?

The author writes about growing up in Los Angeles with her father the jazz pianist Joe Albany. It’s a wonderful book with many parallels to your wonderful “Tosh: Growing Up in Wallace Berman’s World” memoir.

Hi Andrew, Yes, I read Amy-jO Albany's memoir just as I finished writing TOSH. She did a remarkable job in writing in what must have been a difficult book to write. And thank you for your kind words about my book! Ciao, Tosh
