I received my vaccine a few weeks ago, and I’m disappointed that I didn’t turn into The Hulk or even Spider-Man. I’m an older gentleman, and I feel life has passed me by, but then again, I did have my thumb sticking out and was picked up for the ride to the vaccine. I could have gone to the hospital, but fate made me go to the local CVS pharmacy. No one was in the building, and as I approach a worker, all they did was keep their distance and pointed toward a direction. I followed the pointed fingers to the location where I arrange to have my Johnson & Johnson vaccine shot. They jab me with a needle full of life of some foreign sort, and I didn’t feel a thing. They asked me if I wanted to stick around for 15-minutes or so, but I told them I had to leave.
So funny yet so true. I just got the J & J vaccine yesterday and didn't feel anything either. After a year of isolation can we really go out into the world again. I can't wait to hit my favorite book store and record store.
Excellent, as usual Tosh. I love the tongue slightly in the cheek way you have in some of your writing. Thanks.
